PIR Beacon is deployed in meeting rooms, rest rooms, or production line stations to help utilize the space usage and analyse the on-duty status and work efficiency. When there’s no motion in a room for a long time,PIR PRESENCE will report the space is not occupied,and when it’s installed above a work station,the off-duty status will be detected if workers leave the station. Managers can analyze the working efficiency in this way.
PIR Beacon will be deployed at the walkway or stairs of smart homes and smart buildings. When someone passes by, an event will be reported to the gateway. The gateway will issue a command to the night light connected to the smart socket and trigger the light to turn on.

There are two installation styles of PIR PRESENCE, one is double sided tape and the another is bracket with screws. When used for anti-theft monitoring, the PIR beacon with hall sensor is fixed on the wall while the magnet is fixed on the door frame or window, the distance between the two should be less than 1cm and the installation height should be 2.4m to 3m. And it should be directly aimed at anything whose temperature changes rapidly, especially heating objects such as air conditioners and radiators. Moreover,it should also not aimed at the window as the thermal disturbance or personnel movement outside will cause false report. 2.4m to 3.0m.
With detachable 5200 mAh Li-SOCI2 battery,PIR presence can be used for over 5 years, which saves you lot of cost.
