R1 Road Stud Beacon

R1 is a IP68 Bluetooth Road Stud Beacon based on BLE chip Nordic nfr52810, which is powered by ER18505 and can be operated for up to 10 years. Route Navigation

The specific solution is to combine with the LPRS. When the vehicle is parked in a parking space, the LPRS recognizes the license plate and reports the parking position. Meanwhile, the Bluetooth road stud beacon is deployed near the parking space, and the license plate is input to guide the parking space and plan the corresponding route. 
 
If the LPRS is not deployed in the parking space, geomagnetic sensors or ultrasonic sensors can be added to the Bluetooth road stud for reporting the parking space occupancy and indoor navigation during parking space reservation/reverse search. However, the reverse search can only be carried out by the parking number when leaving instead of using the license plate number. (unless parking APP is used)

After the road stud beacons are fixed in the playground facilities or different seating areas of the stadium, users can register the specific APP after entering the playground or stadium, scan the surrounding specific location beacons with their mobile phones, and then navigate to the scenic spots they want to browse or the seats they want to book. At the same time, when the user passes a specific area and scans the beacon in the area, the tour guide or the course information will pop up.

Parking Space Management

After the road stud beacon is fixed in the parking area, the broadcast information of the landmark product can be scanned when the shared bike approaches, and the distance can be roughly determined by the RSSI value, and whether the bike is parked in the permitted parking area can be determined accordingly. This scanning device can not only be the user’s mobile phone, but also be a car scanning device.

Functionality of R1 Road Stud Beacon

Users scan road stud beacon at specific locations with their mobile phones, and the positioning information is displayed on their mobile phones after calculation.

As the scanning terminal, the R1 road stud scans the tag attached to the asset and reports its information to the gateway. The gateway then reports the tag to the server for location calculation, and finally displays the location information on the platform.
